  Six Harmonies Pagoda
The Six Harmonies Pagoda
(liù hé tǎ 六和塔) is located on Yuelun Mountain (yuè lún shān 月轮山) besides Qiantang River (qián táng jiāng 钱塘江), and south of West Lake (xī hú 西湖) in Hangzhou City (háng zhōu shì 杭州市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省). The pagoda was first constructed in 970 during the Northern Song Dynasty (běi sòng 北宋) by Qian Hongshu (qián hóng shū 钱弘淑), the king of Wuyue (wú yuè 吴越). The name "six harmonies" comes from the six Buddhist ordinances, meaning "harmonies of the heaven, earth, and the four directions of east, west, south and north". At that time, the pagoda was built to suppress the tidewaters.

Qinghefang Ancient Street
(qīng hé fāng gǔ jiē 清河坊古街) is one of the oldest streets and is the only well persevered antique historic street in Hangzhou City (háng zhōu shì 杭州市). It derived from the Southern Song Dynasty (nán sòng 南宋) and became prosperous in the Qing Dynasty (qīng cháo 清朝). The buildings in the street were mostly constructed during the Ming (míng cháo 明朝) and Qing dynasties. After Hangzhou had been chosen as the capital of Southern Song Dynasty, Qinghefang witness many luxurious residence and prosperous restaurants, teahouse and stores. The street collects the business culture, construction culture and folk art culture, famous people, old alleys, ancient houses and renowned store accumulating rich historical and cultural heritage. It is the epitome of Hanghzou. The street is located close to Wu Hill (wú shān 吴山) and the West Lake (xī hú 西湖).

(háng zhōu yě shēng dòng wù yuán 杭州野生动物园) is an important tourism program in Hangzhou City (háng zhōu shì 杭州市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省). It covers an area of 3500 mu (mǔ 亩), is the largest-scaled safari park in Eastern China Region. The park is surrounded with beautiful mountains and flowing water. It has an array of animals such as white lions, Siberian tigers, leopards, monkeys and rhinoceros etc.. You can also see the "Four National Treasures", Giant Pandas (dà xióng māo 大熊猫), Red Ibises (zhū huán 朱鹮), Golden Takins (jīn máo líng niú 金毛羚牛) and Golden Monkeys (jīn sī hóu 金丝猴).

Mogan Mountain (mò gàn shān 莫干山) is located in Deqing County (dé qīng xiàn 德清县), Huzhou City (hú zhōu shì 湖州市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省). It is in the center of beautiful and affluent Golden Triangle Hu (hù 沪), Ning (níng 宁), Hang (háng 杭). Mogan Mountain is National Scenic Spot and was listed as one of the 'Four Best Summer Resorts in China', the others are Beidaihe (běi dài hé 北戴河), Lushan Mountain (lú shān 庐山), Jigong Mountain (jī gōng shān 鸡公山). In the Spring and Autumn Period (chūn qiū shí qī 春秋时期) a couple named Gan Jiang (gàn jiāng 干将) and Mo Ye (mò yé 莫邪), who were expert sword makers, were asked by the Emperor of Wu to make their best sword in three months. They made the unique sword here, so the mountain got its name. Mogan Mountain enjoys the reputation of "the pleasantly cool world".

(lǔ xùn 鲁迅)(1881-1936), a great writer and scholar in China, was bom in Shaoxing City (shào xìng shì 绍兴市), Zhejiang Province (zhè jiāng shěng 浙江省) and lived here until he went abroad to study. When returned home to teach in a local school, he also lived here. He was died in 1936. Lu Xun was the chief commander of China's Modern Cultural Revolution, the greatest thinker and revolutionist.
