Get a Beijing Olympics ticket, you need to
first submit an application to the Beijing Oganizing Cmmittee for 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG), but the BOCOG does not
guarantee all applications. Random selection will be adopted for over-subscribed sessions. The BOCOG will send you a confirmation
letter after your payment is completed, but you cannot get your ticket in hand until June 2008.

1-1 Date

You can buy tickets for the Beijing Games during three periods of time. To be in the first session, be sure to submit applications before June 30, 2007.

Session 2 starts in October and ends in December 2007. Based on first-come-first-serve
rules, this session offers three ways of purchasing tickets:

the ticketing website
the participating Bank of China Olympic Ticket Outlets
the Olympic Ticketing Call Center

Session 3 starts in April 2008 and extends through the closing of the Olympic Games. In addition to the three purchasing methods in Session 2, you may also make purchases at
the particular venue box offices. Tickets will be printed out in real time.


1-2 Residency and ID Requirement

Make sure you have a valid address within
Chinese mainland.

For Hong Kong and Macao residents, a valid
passport or a Mainland Travel Permit with valid endorsement is required.

For Taiwan rsidents, a Mainland Travel Permit
 with valid endorsement is required.

For foreign citizens, a Chinese visa valid for 6
months or more is required.

These requirements will be filled in on the
applications for tickets.

2-1 If you do not reside in Chinese mainland

Olympic fans from outside Chinese mainland should contact local Olympic Committee's
(NOC) in your territory of residence for ticketing information. Some NOCs have designated Official Ticket Agent to assist the public on ticketing and related services. If not, please contact your NOC directly.

1-3 Submitting Applications

To submit an application online, you need to create your account at the Games' official
site , search for the events you want to watch and pay with either Visa Card or Bank of
China savings account.

Or, you may manually fill out the Application Form and go to any Bank of China Olympic
Ticket Outlet to submit your application.
