The radiology department has a total number of 24 doctors, among them 4 have senior professional tiles, 8 have sub-seniorprofessional tiles, 9 have doctorate degree, 11 have master degree, 4 aretutors of master degree students, 6 haveoverseas study experience. The department has such subspecialities as generalradiology, computed tomography ( CT ), nuclear magnetic resonance ( MRI ) and interventionalradiology. It has formed its own characteristics in pediatric radiology and chest imaging. Imaging diagnosis of easy access is build up to meet the needs ofclinical diagnosis and treatment. The department focus on quality management,the quality control is awarded the excellent quality assessment in Shanghai city. Thedepartment successfully held the women and children's group meeting of ShanghaiRadiological Society. In 2010, two papers have been published and indexed by SCI, ten papers have been published in the core journals, six research programsare been developed including one newly granted by Shanghai health Bureau, onenewly granted by Shanghai Xinhua hospital, one focus project by Shanghai City Committee of science and technology, one by Shanghai City Committee of scienceand technology and two by Shanghai Health Bureau.
