Kongtong Mountain

Kongtong Mountains (Kōngtóng Shān 崆峒山) is one of the sacred mountains of Taoism. It is located in Pingliang City (píng liáng shì 平凉市), Gansu Province (gān sù shěng 甘肃省), People's Republic of China. To the east of Kongtong Mountains there is famous ancient city Xi'an (xī ān 西安), to the west it is Lanzhou (lán zhōu 兰州), this mountain is the west exit fortress of GuanZhong flatland (guān zhōng píng yuán 关中平原) along the ancient Silk Road.  It is the mythical meeting site between the Huangdi (huáng dì 皇帝) (also known as Yellow Emperor) and Guangchengzi (guǎng chéng zǐ 广成子).

Pingliang (píng liáng 平凉) is a prefecture-level city in eastern Gansu Province in China. It neighbors Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region (níng xià huí zú zì zhì qū 宁夏回族自治区) in the north and Shaanxi Province (shǎn xī shěng 陕西省) in the south and east. Pingliang City, Located at the geometrical center of three capital cities of Xi'an (xī ān 西安), Lanzhou (lán zhōu 兰州) and Yinchuan (yín chuān 银川), is an important area at the eastern end of the northern branch of the ancient Silk Road and an important pass linking the inner Gansu with the east region of China.

Longnan
(Lǒngnán 陇南) is a prefecture-level city in China's Gansu province. It is in southern Gansu province bordering Shaanxi  (shǎn xī 陕西) in the east and Sichuan (sì chuān 四川) in the south. Within Gansu, Longnan borders Tianshui (tiān shuǐ 天水) in the north and Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (gān nán zàng zú zì zhì zhōu 甘南藏族自治州) in the west. It is called Gansu's southern gateway and China's gateway to the northwest.

Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture (gān nán zàng zú zì zhì zhōu 甘南藏族自治州) is an autonomous prefecture in southern Gansu Province, China. It is situated in the southwest of Gansu Province (gān sù shěng 甘肃省), neighboring Dingxi (dìng xī 定西) and Longnan (lǒng nán 陇南) in the east and Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture (lín xià huí zú zì zhì zhōu 临夏回族自治州) in the north. It is also bounded on the south by Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture (ā bà zàng zú qiāng zú zì zhì zhōu 阿坝藏族羌族自治州) of Sichuan Province (sì chuān shěng 四川省) in the neighborhood of Guoluo (guǒ luò zhōu 果洛州), and Huangnan Tibetan autonomous prefectures of Qinghai Province (qīng hǎi huáng nán zhōu 青海黄南州) in the west.

Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture (lín xià huí zú zì zhì zhōu 临夏回族自治州) is in Western China's Gansu Province, south of the capital, Lanzhou. It is seated in southwest-central Gansu Province on the upper reaches of the Yellow River. It borders Dingxi City (dìng xī shì 定西市) in the east, GannanTibetan Autonomous Prefecture (gān nán cáng zú zì zhì zhōu 甘南藏族自治州) in the south and the capital city of Gansu, Lanzhou, in the north. With the Anemaqen Mountains forming a naturalboundary, it is also bordered to the west by Qinghai Province (qīng hǎi shěng 青海省).
