Jiudongtian Scenic Area

Jiudongtian Scenic Area
(jiǔ dòng tiān fēng jǐng qū 九洞天风景区) is located at Dafang County (dà fāng xiàn 大方县), Bijie City (bì jiē shì 毕节市) of Guizhou Province (guì zhōu shěng 贵州省). It covers an area of 80 square kilometers. In the scenic area, it is neither hot in summer nor cold in winter. The vegetations there are green all the year around. Because there are nine branch caves in the area, hence the name Jiudongtian. Jiudongtian Scenic Area is crowned as the Encyclopedia of Karst in China (zhōng guó yán róng bǎi kē quán shū 中国岩溶百科全书) and the Karst Geological Museum (kā sī tè dì zhì bó wù guǎn 喀斯特地质博物馆).

Anshun Confucian Temple
(ān shùn wén miào 安顺文庙), also called Fuxue Palace (fǔ xué gōng 府学宫), is located at the northeast of Anshun City (ān shùn shì 安顺市). Covering an area of about 8000 square meters, the temple is a group of ancient buildings. It was first constructed during the year 1368 in the Ming Dynasty (míng cháo 明朝), and ruined in 1622. Then in 1624, it was reconstructed. The several-times renovations and expansions during the Qing Dynasty (qīng cháo 清朝) make the temple perfect. It is the earliest as well as the largest official Confucian temple in Guizhou Province (guì zhōu shěng 贵州省). At present, there exist 22 architectures in the temple.

(ní dàng shí lín 泥凼石林) is located at the southern part of Xingyi City (xīng yì shì 兴义市). It is 47 kilometers away from the urban area. The stone forest was naturally formed during the Paleozoic Era. It is 4 kilometers long from east to west, and 2 kilometers long from south to north, covering an area of more than 3000 mu (mǔ 亩).

(jiǔ lóng dòng 九龙洞) is located 17 kilometers southeast of Tongren City (tóng rén shì 铜仁市), Guizhou Province (guì zhōu shěng 贵州省). It is on the mountainside of the Guaiyin Mountain (guān yīn shān 观音山) which is on the east bank of Malong Stream (mà lóng xī 骂龙溪). It is a karst cave in large scale. There are various stalactites in the cave, which are in different color and different shapes. It is a famous summer resort in Guizhou. The Jinjiang River (jǐn jiāng 锦江) in front of the cave, and the Liulong Mountain (liù lóng shān 六龙山) at back added more beauty to the Jiulong Cave.

Tianhe Pool Scenic Area
(tiān hé tán fēng jǐng qū 天河潭风景区) is located in Shiban Town (shí bǎn zhèn 石板镇), Guiyang City (guì yáng shì 贵阳市) of Guizhou Province (guì zhōu shěng 贵州省). It joins the greatness of Huangguoshu Waterfalls (huáng guǒ shù pù bù 黄果树瀑布) and the beauty of the Huaxi (huā xī 花溪) together. Tianhe Pool is a typical naturally sunken pit of calcified rocks. The water wheel, the farmhouse, the bridge and the flowing water, make the pool much more delightful.
