With its unmistakable design, the Grand Lisboa Macau is a prime Macau attraction and one of the city's most distinctive landmarks. The crown jewel in Stanley Ho’s casino empire, the Grand Lisboa is an inspired oddity. Though strangely alluring from the outside, once indoors all doubts about the Lisboa’s dedication to luxury vanish. Background

Grand Lisboa Hotel

The Grand Lisboa Hotel is owned by Sociedade de Jogos de Macau (SJM) and designed by renowned Hong Kong architects Dennis Lau and Ng Chun Man. An impressive and iconic skyscraper, the 58-floor hotel is 260 meters tall. The casino and restaurants within Grand Lisboa were opened on February 11, 2007, while the hotel was opened in December 2008.

On permanent display at the Lobby of Grand Lisboa Hotel is “The Star of Stanley Ho”. According to the Gemological Institute of America, the 218.08 carat (43.62 g) diamond is the largest cushion-shaped diamond in the world with excellent polish, symmetry and internal flawless D-color. The diamond, named after Dr. Stanley Ho, is a reflection of SJM's commitment to delivering ultimate luxury to its guests.

Grand Lisboa is a 58-floor, 261-metre-tall (856 ft) hotel. It contains 430 hotel rooms and suites. The Grand Lisboa is the tallest building in Macau and the 118th Tallest Building in the World (by architectural structure).
